Win over Cardiff leads City to maintain the position on top

Manchester City moved back above Liverpool at the top of the Premier League after easing to victory against struggling Cardiff.
Kevin de Bruyne took just minutes to open the scoring with his first league goal since 22 December on the 6th minute for the City. More Manchester City possession and chances followed, before Leroy Sane made it 2-0 just before half-time, burying his shot into the bottom corner at the 44th minute. The match was concluded in the first half with 2 gaols lead for City. Despite many efforts the second half went on without a single goal for any of the team and the match concluded with City taking a lead of 2 goals again standing at the top of the English Premier League.
Cardiff, who barely threatened at the other end of the game and did not register an effort at goal or a touch in the home area until Junior Hoilett had a hopeful shot blocked at the very end of the first half.
The easy win over Cardiff moves Manchester City to regain it's position making 80 points of 32 games played.
